Judy Kaufmann

Cat: Judy Kaufmann neix l’any 1980 a Santiago de Xile en una familia xilena-alemanya-israelita. És l’any 2004 que descobreix Barcelona com a capital de la il.lustració i sense dubtar-ho canvia de rumbe per especialitzar-se en allò que mé li agrada fer.
Il.lustradora, dissenyadora i creativa, dedica el seu temps tant a la direcció d’art, com al disseny i a la il.lustració editorial.

Judy renega de la barrera que separa l’art del grafisme, estrenyent al máxim la concepció que uneix l’un de l’altre, respectant l’objectiu final i concret de cadascun dels seus treballs.

Dins de la llista de clients figuren alguns com BBC London, CCCB, Editorial Planeta, Editorial Random House Mondadori, Editorial RBA, Mao Mao Publications, El Periódico de Catalunya, The Clinic, Notro Films entre d’altres.

ilustración y sin dudarlo cambia de rumbo para especializarse en lo
que más le gusta hacer.
Ilustradora, diseñadora y creativa, dedica su tiempo tanto a la
dirección de arte, como al diseño y a la ilustración editorial.

Judy reniega de la barrera que separa el arte del grafismo,
estrechando al máximo la concepción que une al uno del otro,
respetando el objetivo final y concreto de cada uno de sus trabajos.

Dentro de la lista de clientes figuran algunos como BBC London, CCCB,
Editorial Planeta, Editorial Random House Mondadori, Editorial RBA,
Mao Mao Publications, El Periodico de Catalunya, The Clinic, Notro
Films, entre otros.

Eng: Judy Kaufmann was born in Santiago, Chile in 1980 into a German-Israeli family. After finishing her studies in Advertising, she decides to settle down in Barcelona, the capital of the illustration. Since 2004, she specializes as a Creative, Illustrator and Designer, developing a successful career on art direction, graphic design and publishing illustration.

Judy is a believer that the barriers that separate the arts and the graphics should be blurred, narrowing the distance between them. Each piece of work in which she is involved respects this final mission. Following this inspiration, Judy has developed an original style that has attracted major clients such as BBC London, CCCB, Editorial Planeta, Editorial Random House Mondadori, Editorial RBA, Mao Mao Publications, The Clinic, Notro Films, Poolga, among others.
As a complement of her career, Judy teaches the class of “Drawing and Sketch” at IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) and also collaborates annually with the University of Barcelona as an instructor of “creativity” for advertising students.
